Lumiris – Licensed Application End User License Agreement

Last updated: 26 September 2025

Thank you for choosing Lumiris (“App”). Lumiris is developed by Pierre Boudoin and distributed through Apple’s App Store. This Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is between you and Pierre Boudoin, but your license to use Lumiris is granted by Apple under the Apple Media Services Standard EULA. This Agreement supplements the Standard EULA with terms specific to Lumiris.

1. Scope of License

Your use of Lumiris is subject to the Apple Standard EULA. The license is non-transferable and permits you to use Lumiris on any Apple-branded device that you own or control. Apple’s Usage Rules set additional limits. Sharing your login or redistributing the App is prohibited.

2. Subscription and In-App Purchases

Lumiris provides a free tier (one scan) and a Premium subscription with unlimited scans, HD exports and additional effects. Payments are processed by Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage or cancel your subscription via your Apple ID settings.

3. User Content and Privacy

All iris captures, edits and exports are processed locally on your device. Lumiris does not transmit or store your images on external servers. Optional iCloud synchronisation is governed by Apple’s iCloud Terms of Service. For further details, read our Privacy Policy.

4. Updates and Support

Updates delivered through the App Store may modify or enhance the App. Continued use after an update signifies acceptance of the revised terms. For support requests or bug reports, contact support@lumiris.app.

5. Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated by you or the developer. Your rights under the Agreement terminate automatically if you fail to comply with its terms. Upon termination you must delete Lumiris and all copies.

6. External Services

Lumiris may present outgoing links or export options that rely on services outside of our control (for example, iCloud, Files, or social platforms). Use of those services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.

7. Warranty Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lumiris is provided “as is” and “as available”. Neither Pierre Boudoin nor Apple makes any warranties regarding performance, reliability, or suitability for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent not prohibited by law, neither Pierre Boudoin nor Apple shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of your use of Lumiris. In any event, total liability shall not exceed fifty euros (50 €).

9. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of France without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where the Apple Standard EULA specifies otherwise based on your country of residence.
